At AOTA INSPIRE 2025, we’re not just gathering to advance our profession—we’re also coming together to support the local community. Join a guided tour of Hub of Hope to learn how OT practitioners and students are addressing homelessness through engagement and essential services. Then, take part in our Service Project, where you can donate critical items or help assemble kits for organizations making a difference in Philadelphia.

The journey out of homelessness often begins at Hub of Hope, a vital engagement center in Philadelphia’s Suburban Station. In partnership with SEPTA and the City of Philadelphia, the Hub provides a safe space where individuals can access warm drinks, showers, laundry facilities, primary health care, and support from case managers—all key steps toward finding permanent housing.
Join us for a 30-minute tour to learn how local occupational therapy professionals and students are making an impact in this community.
How to Participate
Date: Wednesday, April 2
Time: Tours begin at 12:00 PM and run every 30 minutes until 2:30 PM
Meeting Point: Pennsylvania Convention Center Grand Hall (5-minute walk to Hub of Hope)
Availability: Limited slots, first-come, first-served
