Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering all individuals through personally relevant books. With community partners like AOTA, they support 24/7 book access, support underserved areas, and champion the distribution of diverse books.
You can bring any of the banned books to AOTA INSPIRE 2024 for collection and we can support their Impact Library Program for low-income neighborhoods, Indigenous Library Programs to support libraries on tribal lands, and Read in Color to share diverse books around the world. All books will be distributed at the end of AOTA INSPIRE 2024 in Orlando. View list of books banned in Florida Public Schools.
Zebra Youth is a network of organizations which provides services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and all youth (LGBTQ+) ages 13-24. They assist young people facing homelessness, bullying, isolation from their families, and physical, sexual and drug abuse with individualized programs to guide them to recovery and stability.
By supporting Zebra Youth, you are supporting youth care coordination, temporary housing, mental health counseling, and a youth drop-in center. Many of these young people have lived through adverse childhood experiences and housing insecurity, and hope seems out of reach. Help support those who will walk beside these amazing young people so that they too may experience all the occupations they dream of.
