Accessibility at AOTA INSPIRE 2026

AOTA is committed to ensuring that AOTA INSPIRE 2026 | Annual Conference & Expo is a fully inclusive and accessible experience for all participants. Our goal is for every attendee—regardless of ability—to fully participate in all scheduled sessions, events, and activities.

Accessibility Features

All-Access Restrooms

Designated accessible restrooms will be located in both the Anaheim Hilton and the Anaheim Convention Center.

Reserved Seating

Front-row seating in session rooms will be reserved for attendees with visual or hearing access needs.

See Live Captions and CART Services below for more information.

PowerPoints & Presentations

All presenters use the AOTA accessibility-compliant presentation template. Presentations are reviewed in advance for adherence to accessibility guidelines.

Parking

Accessible parking is available in Car Park 1 (near ACC North) and Car Park 4 (near Hall D). Notify the parking attendant upon arrival to be directed to ADA spaces.

AOTA will schedule sessions near both lots for convenience.

Distance Markers

Convention centers are large spaces. Please plan accordingly, as some sessions may require travel time between rooms. Similar sessions are grouped together to make navigation easier, and distance markers are included on signage around the convention center.

Mothers' Lounge

Private, comfortable spaces for nursing parents will be available in both the Anaheim Hilton and the Anaheim Convention Center.

Prayer Room

A quiet, designated prayer room will be located within the Anaheim Convention Center.

Quiet Room

A low-stimulation environment will be available for those needing a sensory break. We also recommend bringing earplugs or headphones for added comfort.

Green Space

Service animals can enjoy outdoor breaks in the lawns located near the Arena (Grassy Knolls).

Dietary Accommodations

Menus are designed to meet diverse dietary needs. Available options include dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, vegan, vegetarian, Kosher, and Halal.

Requests for CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) or ASL interpreters must be submitted by March 26, 2026, to ensure local agency availability. You can request these services during the registration process in the required accessibility question.

AOTA does not provide interpreters or transcriptionists on-site without prior arrangement. All arrangements must be requested no later than four weeks prior to the conference start date.

Mobility Support

Wheelchair and scooter rentals are available locally and on-site:
