What to know before you buy your Disneyland tickets!

When purchasing your tickets, you’ll need to make a few decisions:

  • Number of days: Decide how long you want to visit.
  • Park access: Choose either one park per day or, for an additional charge, a park hopper ticket that lets you visit both parks on any day.
    • Park hopping begins at 11:00 AM.
  • Lightning Lane Multi-Pass: Optional add-on that gives access to select rides once per day of your visit.

When purchasing your ticket, you will also need to select:

  • Which park you want to visit on each day (or which park to start in if using a park hopper ticket).
  • For multi-day tickets, you can change reservations in the app once your ticket has been linked to your account.

Planning tips for an unforgettable Disneyland visit!

Planning ahead can help you make the most of your time at Disneyland during AOTA INSPIRE 2026. Here’s what to know:

Park Hours

Park hours are continuously updated in the Disneyland app, but typically:

  • Disneyland: Closes at 10:00–11:00 PM on weekdays, 11:00–12:00 AM on weekends.
  • California Adventure: Closes at 9:00 PM, sometimes 10:00 PM on weekends.

Keep these hours in mind when deciding whether to purchase park hopper tickets and when making park reservations.

Transportation

Getting from the Anaheim Convention Center to Disneyland Resort:

  • Walking: Roughly 1 mile.
  • Rideshare or bus: Convenient if you want to save energy for the parks.
    • Anaheim Regional Transit (ART) buses run from the convention center and nearby hotels. Mobile payment accepted.
  • Disney Satellite Parking: The Toy Story Parking Area is across Harbor Blvd from many hotels. Free Disney Shuttle service takes you to the park entrance.

Lightning Lane

Skip long lines with Disney Lightning Lane! There are two options:

Lightning Lane Multi-Pass (LLMP)

  • Includes 13 rides at Disneyland and 9 rides at California Adventure.
  • Access each ride once per day.
  • First reservation made after park entry; subsequent reservations available after using the first one or 2 hours after the last selection, whichever comes first.
  • Costs start at $34 per day, per person (varies by date).

Lightning Lane Single-Pass (LLSP)

  • Access one ride per day (Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland or Radiator Springs Racers at California Adventure).
  • Purchase on the same day after entering the park.
  • Cost usually $18–$25, depending on date and demand.

Disneyland App

Downloading the Disneyland app is highly recommended:

  • Access and manage your tickets.
  • Book and scan Lightning Lane reservations.
  • Mobile order food ahead of time.
  • View interactive maps, wait times, character meet locations, and parade/show schedules.

Add everyone in your party to the app to coordinate your visit seamlessly. Visiting without the app is possible but much more challenging.
