Thousands of occupational therapy professionals and students gathered in San Antonio for AOTA INSPIRE 2022 to recharge their energy, sharpen their minds, and face the future with confidence. We hope all attendees were inspired to be their passionate and creative best. Below are just a few highlights:

Welcome to AOTA INSPIRE 2022! Attendees from around the world participated in a variety of opportunities to grow and realize their boundless potential.

Great food, friends, and finds filled the aisles of the Expo Hall, where attendees visited with hundreds of companies empowering them to address their client’s current challenges.

Led by TODOS and MDI groups, attendees
celebrated Latin Rhythm dance during
this year’s salsa dance break.

Attendees felt the AOTA love and stopped
to take pictures at this motivating and
empowering selfie station (and others) located throughout Conference.

In her Farewell Presidential Address, AOTA President Wendy Hildenbrand discussed leaving complacency at the door and embracing true urgency to advance our profession in service to all people, populations, and communities.

AOTA and AOTF award recipients from
2020, 2021, and 2022 were honored for
their significant contributions to enrich
the profession of occupational therapy.

Dr. Bertice Berry rocked the house with
her powerful and inspiring keynote presentation about finding our unique
purpose and creating opportunities for those we live and work with.

How have you advocated for the profession? Attendees posted their
advocacy accomplishments on this colorful wall located in The AOTA Experience.

At her Inaugural Presidential Address,
President-Elect Alyson Stover shared her
unique vision as the incoming leader of
AOTA.

Kristie Patten gave this year's
Eleanor Clarke Slagle Lecture, and spoke about positive psychology, disability justice,
well-being and research that centers the
voice of self-advocates.

Attendees participated in a wide breadth of learning while earning
contact hours for state licensure and NBCOT® certification requirements.

Poster sessions provided attendees with
the opportunity to stay up to date on many new and exciting interventions, important advances, and the latest research.
